I think its funny when people ask me - what's up, because "wazzup" is a boring question, the kind you ask where the answer you can only care less. So, I say in reply what's down when I don't want to engage in a conversation because the person don't know how to react to it which is good! Hahaha. But on a serious note, what's up with me?
January wasn't so bad, at all. The start of the year was quite cold as usual and coming back from a week long vacation, my niece Paula was admitted at MMC for Pneumonia. So afterwards the house was turned into a coughing capital and flu, God, we're all in this together, in sickness and in health! I had to go to the clinic twice for incessant coughing, so yeah antibiotic we meet again. Not to mention that even most my office mates were flu inflicted. It's so funny when one coughs, the rest answers back!
Feeling so
Inspired, excited for all the days to come! Hey, 1 week until February and there is so much possibilities, with work, relationships, experiences. Looking forward to many great things to come this year, and many lessons to fill my bank of happy memories. I'm also feeling motivated to push through my fitness plans; jog 2xweek; Anytime fitness 2x week. You go healthy buff girl, Lory.
Listening to
Perfect Strangers, I play this all the time like in the car, at home or during running. Maybe we're perfect strangers, maybe were not forever, maybe were only human, maybe we don't need a reason why. The upbeat sound gets me up on my knees! Lee (my niece) was like - Mamu, that's so last year, were you a caveman? I could only roll my eyes..kids this days !!!
Still watching
The Big Bang Theory! Wasn't able to watch it since Season 9 and I got some time to catch up during weekends! Sheldon Cooper is so smart to be stupid, and so funny! Yeah I enjoy watching it!
Looking forward
To a nice out of town drive on a weekend with friends, food trip and laugh trip, and let me add beer-trip too! Also, to holidays come April we're planning some photo session and bonding blah. I know getting married is so complicated. Following that, a quick out of country trip, maybe Singapore with Riza by May to celebrate our tiny victories and Daryl's birthday! This, I know is much needed.
The year has only begun, but I'm just too optimistic for so many things to come and lessons to learn along the way, I mean who knows how would 2017 end, it's all up to me but like a teen who's got new phone, new slate, new beginning, I'm just too excited for you 2017!
Cheers to 2017,
itsmelory (^.^)
