So long, Singapore

The last few stops in Singapore was super fun, esp. when you're with a bunch of crazy peeps. We were happy we made it to most of our target spots (I think so..) and celebrated dear Daryl's birthday here in SG.

Dear Daryl,
Happy birthday to you.
No tear jerking messages,  just know I'm here for you. Always.

Thanks tropa peeps and to you Jomaru-san.

The tour wouldn't end without some shopping.

Birthday boy, already complaining.. Lols.

This pic. Lols.

And Jomaru san cooked for us! What a blessing you are my friend. :)

Suits up and getting ready..

Thank you Jomaru san, till next time! See you soon.
Mary Grace ulit? Hehe

Took the train to Airport by evening for our flight back home, some take away beers to cap the night, and we're so home-bound. In the words of my Chinese colleague, xie xie Singapura! It has been fun, we'll come back soon.

SuperTrees

Standing 25m and 50m tall, this trees are indeed supertall, and super powerful! Some trees has photovoltaic cells to harvest solar energy to light the Supertrees. Equipped with planting panels, these trees have walls of plants of about 200 species embedded on its trunk.

Ok, I wouldn't miss if for the world!

and before the day ends, current mood be like. Lols.

Cloud Forest

What a stunning view, and a really cool temperature inside the Cloud Forest. We enjoyed every single minute and worth every penny we spent here! Upon entry, you'll be welcomed by the cool moist and an indoor water falls!

Too many fascinating plants all at once

Up in the cloud walk...

The birthday boy getting extra sweeter.

The Flower Dome

After our filling lunch, we headed to the Gardens by the Bay area for our next tour- into the greenhouse with different unique flowers and plants. Standard Flower Dome + Cloud Forest ticket costs SGD28. What a pleasant walking tour since the whole greenhouse is fully air-conditioned. I could only wish I could bring some plants back home!

One happy tourist..

More lakwatsa sa Singapura

Almost lunchtime coming from Suntec, so our next stop is to get some foods..but before that- we needed to do the mandatory Merlion photo along the way to Marina Bay area to see Singapore's famous landmark.

The Marina Bay Sands

Chilling burpday boy in mid-day sun! On fleek!

I just dropped by to say hi...

Stopover at Merlion Landmark

Paying some homage to the Merlion as planned. Ok lah.

The Helix Bridge

This bridge connects to the Marina Bay Center and dubbed as Singapore's next landmark, the world's first ever curved bridge! Singapore loves to play with curves and lines using stainless steel. How pretty impressive, and overlooking is a nice angle of the Marina Bay Sands.

The 2 km walk leaves us so starving, so glad find myself back in Marina Bay Centre..

 What's for lunch?

Starving faces..

The best ramen I've tasted so far!

Happy Burpday!

Jomaru-san's treat for dessert! Arigatou.

MBC does not only have fancy shops of famous brands you can name,
it also has nice walkway to Gardens by the Bay area,
but also found nice stuff photo enroute, hehe.

Lakwatsa sa Singapura Day 2

The first day in one fine country Singapore was all sort of lovely! From USS, hawker, more hawker, admirable clean streets, no traffic jams, working lifts and elevators, faster internets, this is simply Singapore. We went home from USS to more chikahans until wee hours- DOTA in the case of Jomar and finally beauty rest! Woke up to another home made breakfast, my favorite spaghetti with hotdog cut outs cooked by Jomar's housemate, a cup of coffee- I say dios mio, me gusto! Walking tour day 2 today. My salonpas patch is far more ready for you!

Solo ang MRT...what a rare sight esp. in Manila!

Alright, squeeze in everyone, my face looked like I had too much spaghetti. Lol

The Botanical Garden

Took MRT to Botanical Garden, nothing fancy except a nice stroll in a lovely
lush of greens and blooms, all for free.

Madam E trying to do the hold my hand peg but gone wrong?

When you have a nice dress that blends well..

No idea what am I doing in this pic.

Haji Lane

Our next stop is to one colorful street and shops perfect for photo ops. Located across Arab Street, Haji Lane's every corner is really Instagram worthy. I like how you can actually find amazing art works from quaint coffee shop to a full painted wall in just a short walk. Here's our peg:

Joke time! Sino kapatid ni Haji? Answer: Penny Lane. Ok, waley

A much decent groufie this time

Fountain of Wealth @ Suntec City

Singapore is a not just a hub of high rise buildings, but a vibrant image of green lushscapes to enhance and beautify the buildings. A quick stop-over to Suntec City to absorb positive aura of life and wealth at Fountain of Wealth!

Fountain of Wealth.

Quite a cool looking structure here..
